Expansive front and rear verandas create perfect spaces for year-round outdoor enjoyment.
Accommodating up to 7 adults and 4 children (family groups), Longhouse provides ample space for extended family gatherings and shared holiday experiences. Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
With 4 spacious bedrooms, Longhouse at Belongil offers ideal accommodation for large families or friend groups. The property features 3 bathrooms, including one with a bath, plus a refreshing outdoor shower. Additionally, there’s a convenient powder room with separate toilet upstairs. All bedrooms are equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning units.
Bedding configuration (sleeps up to 11, max 7 adults):
– Bedroom 1 ‘The Longroom’: Queen bed with ensuite bathroom (toilet, vanity and shower)
– Bedroom 2 ‘The Loft’: King bed (convertible to two singles), a single bed, and an additional single loft bed
– Bedroom 3 ‘The Roost’: Queen bed
– Bedroom 4 ‘The Bunk House’: 2 sets of single bunks (4 single beds, suitable for children only)
After a morning at the beach, rinse away sand and salt under the enchanting outdoor rainforest shower.
Indoor Living:

We loved it…great extra touches

We loved our stay at the Longhouse, it’s really close to the beach, Byron, coffee shop and a dinner venue. There were so many extra touches including the fact there was a beach tent, beach bag etc. Thank you again, the experience was outstanding and we will definitely back real soon. 🙂

Our family of seven had a simply wonderful stay at the Longhouse. It was even better than any of us had expected. Location was terrific – across the road from the beach and a short walk into Byron town centre. We loved everything about the house and would highly recommend it for a group booking. Plenty of space, every facility and beautifully decorated. Very quiet, very private and with great security. Our dog was as happy there as we were!
A real nice house

This is a real nice house. Very spacious and it has some real nice timber finishes. The front yard and the rear courtyard are both nice and useful. The area is nice too. A bit out of town but the centre of town is walkable. It is also far enough away from the hustle and bustle of modern day Byron Bay town. There is a nice cafe and a nice bar/restaurant only a couple of doors down. Easy access to the beach. Highly Recommend.
