This quiet and perfectly located holiday unit is just metres away from village shops, restaurants, bars, a bottle shop and newsagency. Take a stroll to the top of Tomaree Headland for sensational views over the pristine Port Stephens coastline, or enjoy the public picnic and BBQ facilities along the foreshore. Nelson Bay CBD is approximately 5 minutes by car, where you’ll find boutique shopping, award-winning restaurants and the marina, where dolphin watch cruises depart daily.

Sit back, relax and watch the boats sail in from this cosy first floor unit positioned right on Shoal Bay’s beautiful waterfront. After a fun day swimming, snorkeling or fishing directly opposite, you can enjoy a glass of wine on the full length verandah which offers an outdoor setting and BBQ, along with wonderful sunsets and beautiful vistas.

The tiled, open plan living area offers a double sofa, 2 cane arm chairs, HD TV, DVD player, a CD/MP3 player, electric heating, a pedestal fan, water views and sliding glass door access to the front balcony. The kitchen has a small cooktop, microwave, fridge and a breakfast bar with stools, and the bathroom has a shower and toilet. Enjoy water views from the main bedroom, which offers a double bed, while the 2nd bedroom has 2 single bed and partial water views.

Guests have access to the shared laundry downstairs with a coin-operated washing machine, as well as an undercover parking space for one car.

– Linen and Bed makes are provided for this property. Please note you will have to bring our own linen for the sofa bed or call he office to hire.

This property at Shoal Bay is absolute water front and Castaways has been a long time favourite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our grandchildren and have now started another family tradition. Location opposite the beach and the verandah where we ate most of our meals.
