Wake to the sun rising over the ocean, with sweeping 180° views along the Great Ocean Road stretching toward Apollo Bay and Aireys Inlet. From the deck you can watch ships pass slowly along the coastline while the sound of the surf rolls in the background. The view is always changing — from dramatic winter swells to calm blue horizons and clear, star-filled nights.

On clear evenings, the Milky Way is easily visible from the deck, and when the full moon rises over the water its silver light stretches across the sea in a beautiful display. With uninterrupted ocean views and the gentle rhythm of the surf, it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the natural pace of the coast.

Set between ocean and bush along the Great Ocean Road, the home enjoys a wonderfully natural setting. It sits just across the road from Shelley Beach and is only a relaxed 15-minute stroll into Lorne township — close enough for cafés, restaurants and shops while still offering a peaceful coastal escape.

This is a comfortable, well-loved family holiday home. Guests who appreciate relaxed coastal living, spectacular views and the character of classic Great Ocean Road beach houses tend to enjoy staying here the most.

Upstairs features a spacious, air-conditioned living area that opens onto a large ocean-view deck complete with outdoor dining and a gas BBQ — ideal for long, relaxed meals overlooking the water. The well-equipped kitchen includes a large dining table, dishwasher, full-size fridge/freezer and everything needed for easy family meals.

The upper level also includes three bedrooms, a bathroom with spa bath, a separate toilet and laundry. A built-in child-safe gate on the stairs provides extra peace of mind for families with young children.

Downstairs offers a large bedroom with a queen bed, built-in robes and its own lounge area with fantastic ocean views — making it an ideal private retreat for parents. A second bathroom is also located on this level.

We hope guests feel equally relaxed and invigorated by the sights and sounds of surf and nature during their stay.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Clean, smells fresh, the view does not get old every day you wake up to it. The management team were friendly and welcoming. You wont regret the experience.
