The Location – Located just 500 meters down the street is the pristine sands of South Mollymook Beach, a perfect beach for families of all ages. Directly across from 39 Golf is the famous Beachside 9 hole golf course or just down the street is the popular Mollymook Golf Club with great ocean views from the bistro.
If the waves are too big on the opposite side of the golf course is the Boogie Hole a perfect little rock pool for the littlies. No waves and plenty of rocks to explore in.
Leave the car at home as it is an easy walk to cafes and eateries or Mollymook even walking distance to Ulladulla if you are up for a bit of light exercise.
The House – Welcome to 39 Golf Avenue, Molllymook. Nestled at the top of the hill on Golf Road this charming 3 bedroom home is perfectly situated in the southern end of Mollymook.

A three-in-one piece of Byron Bay bliss

Wanting to escape the busy streets and bars of Byron Bay, we head to this beautiful holiday home just five minutes drive from the centre of town. Immediately the vibe changes; especially when we hear the breaking of the waves and the quiet laughter of caf goers nearby. The whole property consists of three separate properties that can be booked as a whole: the garden villa, the studio and penthouse (where we are staying). The surrounding gardens feel Bali-inspired. There are birds singing, the palm trees that offer shade to the large balcony, lizards sunning themselves on the stairs and the sound of the wind through the foilage. Its so relaxing. Inside, its cosy despite the fact the villa sleeps six, and the biggest couch I have ever seen borders the living room. Upstairs the master bedroom quickly becomes my favourite room. It feels like a luxury tree house, with views across the tree tops, a huge comfy bed and a beautiful bathroom. Before I venture out to the nearby Belongil Beach (an extension of Byrons Main Beach) , I cool down in the private plunge pool. With wet hair and a relaxed smile, I grab a smoothie from the local caf, the wonderful Treehouse on Belongil, and stroll to the beach. Its less crowded, with inviting waves and lots of birdlife. And the best part? Its only 100 metres back to my own private pool and personal treehouse.

Great place for a weekend away, the apartment had everything we needed for two couples and was in the best location. Only negative was the parking, don’t even bother trying to get your car in there, you will need to park in the street.
