The Long House is a luxury 4 bed, 3 bath home in a prestigious Estate close to Queenstown, it is the perfect place for your next holiday. Offering open plan Chef’s kitchen with dining and lounges opening onto a fantastic deck area. Separate media room for the kids and an Outdoor spa to relax in after a day of adventures or skiing.
It is in close proximity to the Remarkables Ski fields and Jacks Point Golf course along with all the other attractions here in Queenstown. Great for families.

** Neighborhood **

Superbly located for year round activities including skiing, golfing, hiking, fishing, biking and water activities.

Feeling Active… staying in the Estate gives you access to the jetty, a boat ramp and lakeside gas barbecues and tables – as well as tennis court with basket ball hoop. Racquets, tennis balls and a basketball are available for guest use at the house. Walking Tracks begin inside the Estate.

** Access **

Apart from a couple of lock-up cupboards, guest have full access to the house. Parking includes 1 space in the garage, with plenty of additional parking available, including space for a boat if needed

** Space **

This spacious home is built to showcase the magnificent views from all living spaces.

The main living area is open-plan with an entertainer’s kitchen/dining/divided lounge and a separate media room. The owner has taken care to fully equip the kitchen with everything you could need. The dining table is big enough to fit the whole family around comfortably. Then after dinner you can sit and relax in the lounge by the gas fire or watch a movie in the media room.

At the far end of the house is the private master bedroom featuring plush carpets, King bed and own patio area. The master ensuite has double basins, large shower and you can relax in the bath with a view.

Close to the entranceway you will find two beautifully appointed bedrooms that can be configured to Twin Single or Superking – these share an ensuite and Powder Room. Upstairs is the Loft bedroom with ensuite that can sleep four.

The media room boasts Sky TV with Movie & Sports channels on the flat screen TV,
DVD player plus portable BOSE mini bluetooth speaker. The lounge area also has a flat screen TV in case you have members of your group who wish to watch something different while sitting around the fire.

The house has WiFi included. There is Central heating throughout with underfloor heating in all bathrooms making the house very cosy during the winter months.

There is a laundry with everything you might need. There is internal access to the garage with a separate drying room for your ski gear.

This already spacious home is enhanced by the easy flow from indoors to the full length deck extending on to the inviting lawns or to the outdoor spa pool.

Only 10 minutes from the Queenstown Airport

** Transit **

Highly recommended to have a rental car or two for a group staying here. There is no public transport to the Estate. Taxi fare from Frankton about $40.

Jack’s Point Golf Club is directly next door – just a couple of minute’s drive to the Clubhouse.

The turnoff to The Remarkables ski field is less than 5 minutes drive away.

Wanting to relax… the nearby Hilton Hotel features a high quality day spa.

Feeling hungry or thirsty… Queenstown and Arrowtown are both 20 minutes drive away, offering a wide variety of food & beverage options.

The Remarkables Park Shopping Centre and Queenstown (ZQN) airport are less than 10 minutes drive away, with scenic flights and heli-tours readily available

** Notes **

We use professional cleaners and hired linen to ensure our home is cleaned to the highest standards.

Additional services available such as grocery collection, additional housekeeping, in-house massage, private chef, cot & highchair hire etc. This can be organised through The Butler (by prior arrangement)

Note: From the 1st January 2023 there will be no BBQ at the house although the Estate does have a BBQ for guests to use down by the lake.

** House Rules **

This house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood – not suitable for parties or too much noise.
No smoking in any part of the house.
No pets allowed.
On departure you are to leave the house locked up, lights and appliances turned off, BBQ clean (if used), Spa pool locked. The house should be tidy with dishes done and rubbish put in the big bins – our housekeeping staff will take care of the rest.
This property is not available as a wedding venue.
Cot & Highchair can be hired from The Butler (if required) – at guest expense.
